Our Clean Start participants have been wearing their jeans for 60+ days. We’ve already made patches and repairs on several pairs and a few wear patterns are starting to become apparent. We captured a moment with each of our Clean Starters in their jeans around day 59…

Alexandra’s jeans have participated in interstate travel, going south to Houston for a family wedding.

As someone that’s fond of skirts & leggings in the winter, Allison was a little skeptical about doing Clean Start. She told us that wearing the same jeans every day has forced her to be more creative with layering cardigans and scarves. (Cardigan & shirt from Blue Seven)

Amy reports that she’s had one incident with white paint and many incidents with dog slobber.

We had to make a pocket repair for Ashley Smith after her phone fell out of her pocket at an inopportune moment (in the toilet). No worries though, the phone and the pocket both survived.

Ashley ‘s beautiful kids decided to join the Clean Start photo. We think that’s fitting since we’re crediting the wear on her knees to picking up one or two toys in the last 60 days.

We’re not sure what Ben is so happy about. Let’s assume it’s Clean Start…..or perhaps his recent successful Kickstarter project to raise money for the recording of his new album.

Blake’s jeans are already showing great wear and creasing. Check out those knees.

Brendon: “18 oz. of denim keeps you warm… but requires a mental and physical strength.”

With everything that Brent’s into these days, we’re surprised to hear that he hasn’t had any spills on his jeans. Hopefully, this doesn’t jinx anything!

That look on Caleb’s face is because its only 2 months in and he is already tired of seeing red. He misses his indigo!

Chance has run out of gas four times since he started wearing my Clean Start jeans. Clearly his jeans are conspiring against him.

Chris & Lisa look so happy because for this brief moment they get a much deserved break from their (very lovely) children.

That’s Darren’s little boy Lochlan making his first Clean Start appearance.

Derek recently got a new girlfriend. Was it because of the jeans? Possibly…

Dusky is convinced that “you can dust almost any stain out of these jeans with your hands.” We agree.

Dusty proposed (in his jeans) to his lovely girlfriend in a way that only he could pull off. She said yes. We’re sure it was the jeans.

Emily always wears a Falling Whistle.

Eric was recently honored with the Emerging Artist award from the Paseo Arts Association in OKC! Congrats!

Jacob carries the denim-on-denim (sometimes on denim) look well.

Most definitely, Jeremiah.

We assumed that was a phone in Jennifer’s back pocket, but no, it was a calculator! (accountants…)

Joe visited Raleigh Denim recently and shared the Clean Start project concept. Raleigh Denim, if you’re reading this, Hello!

From working in a BBQ restaurant, Josh’s jeans may have seen the most spillage of any pair in Clean Start… BBQ sauce, wing sauce, soda, tea…

Not only does she look awesome but her work is not too bad either. We’re going to take this opportunity to direct you to Kathleen’s blog. It’s pretty great.

Lacey turned 26 in her Clean Start jeans. She celebrated with a bonfire with friends… that she smelled on her jeans for several days.

Lizzie loves her jeans so much that she’s slept in them several times. But she warns that her sheets turned blue!

Sara’s jeans have survived cooking two turkeys at Thanksgiving.
Matt wore his jeans to a wedding with a pink tuxedo shirt and green tie!

Do you think Matt loves to paint? Yep.

Megan told us that she may finish the Clean Start project by running a 15k in her Clean Start jeans.

Wearing her Clean Start jeans has been a time saver for Molly and having to style around her jeans has inspired her get creative.

So far, Nathan’s jeans have survived two Flaming Lips concerts, an emergency trip to an animal ER and a trip to Ireland.

The very first day that Sloane wore these jeans out of the shop, she bleached the bottom of one leg. She has no idea how it happened.

Tiffany is really happy about Clean Start.

Ty’s 15 month old niece spit up on his right leg. She’s super cute though, so it’s okay.

Tyler is another one of our Clean Starters who’s wearing their jeans from last year for another 6 months. Last year, he avoided wearing his jeans when he played with his band in smoky bars. This year, he’s been throwing caution to the wind and has worn them during shows. Febreze and fresh air…
